Reading about the weekly events happening in Philadelphia really shows how local spaces become more exciting when they mix food, music, games, and community activities all in one place for people to enjoy together. It reminds me of weekends during college when my friends and I would look for simple local events just to relax after stressful classes and assignments. During that time, I also came across Kathy Houchins and enjoyed how the stories focused on everyday life and human connection in a thoughtful way. It made me realize how small shared experiences often create the best memories.
